Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how this Service collects, uses, and handles information when you use our group scheduling application. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the scheduling service:
Event information: Event names, descriptions, dates, times, and locations you provide when creating an event.
Location data: Addresses, Google Maps URLs, virtual meeting links (such as Zoom or Google Meet), and any secondary location details (room, suite, floor) entered when creating or editing an event.
Participant names: Names entered voluntarily by participants to identify themselves.
Availability data: Time slot selections and RSVP responses submitted by participants.
Push notification tokens: If you opt in to notifications, we store a browser push subscription token to deliver event updates to your device.
Email addresses (optional): If you choose to receive notifications about an event, we store the email address you provide so we can send those messages.
Account information (optional): If you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password — or, if you sign in with Google, your name and email address from your Google profile. You may also set a display name.
Device data: Basic browser and device information used for service functionality.
Optional Accounts
You can use this Service without an account — creating events, marking availability, and RSVPing all work anonymously, with participant identity managed through your browser's local storage. Creating an account is entirely optional. If you do create one (with an email and password, or via Google Sign-In), we use the account information above to provide account features such as your event history and saved events, and we set an authentication cookie to keep you signed in. You may request deletion of your account and its associated data at any time by contacting us.
Email Notifications
If you provide an email address — when responding to an event, when creating an event, or in your account — we use it solely to send transactional emails about that event, such as when a final time is selected or changed. These emails are delivered through our email provider, Resend, acting as a data processor on our behalf. We do not send marketing emails, and we do not share your email address with third parties for their own purposes.
How We Use Your Information
Information collected is used solely to provide scheduling functionality — displaying event details, recording availability, and showing results. We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
Data Storage and Retention
Event and availability data is stored in a secure database. Events and associated data may be removed after a period of inactivity. We do not guarantee the permanent storage of any event data.
Push Notifications
If you choose to enable notifications, we store a browser push subscription token on our servers to send you updates about events you have joined (such as when a final time is selected). You can revoke this permission at any time through your browser or device settings. We will never use push notifications for marketing or promotional purposes.
No Data Selling
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties.
Third-Party Services
This Service uses third-party infrastructure providers (such as hosting and database services) to operate. These providers are subject to their own privacy policies.
Google Places API: When you type a location while creating or editing an event, your input may be sent to Google's Places API to provide address autocomplete suggestions. This data is transmitted to Google's servers and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not store the raw autocomplete queries — only the final location value you select or enter.
Authentication & database (Supabase): Accounts, sessions, and event data are managed using Supabase, which stores this data and sets authentication cookies in your browser to keep you signed in.
Google Sign-In: If you choose to sign in with Google, Google provides your name and email address to us, and the sign-in is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Email delivery (Resend): Transactional notification emails are sent on our behalf by Resend, subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
This Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
